Quinta da Saudade is a small private development located five miles west of Albufeira. This exclusive privately owned estate was constructed around an old Portuguese farmhouse. The 27 villas are situated along the edge of a hillside overlooking an unspoilt valley of olive trees and orange groves. The comprehensive facilities of the Quinta provide all of the essential ingredients for a relaxed holiday. There are plenty of good country walks to discover in the area around the Quinta.
Pools
Quinta da Saudade offers two attractive large swimming pools. The lower pool is rectangular shaped with a separate childrens shallow end. It has sun loungers, tables and is overlooked by the pool bar.The top pool is kidney shaped, and is situated in a quieter area. Ideal for a relaxing read by the pool. Again it has sun loungers and tables.
Play Area
Next to the lower pool is a small paddling pool and childrens play area. These features make it an ideal pool for families.
Pool Bar
Overlooking the lower pool is a fully licensed bar, open from May to October, which offers light meals, ice creams and cold drinks. On a Saturday night during high season it also hosts a popular and highly recommended barbecue. They will be happy to provide you with the bats, balls and clubs for table tennis, the mini golf and petonque.
Restaurant
The original farmhouse has been converted into a restaurant which, in addition to a varied a la carte menu, offers a specialist vegetarian choice and childrens menu.
Horse Riding
Riding stables are situated within Quinta da Saudade where horses and ponies are available for scenic rides or riding lessons.
Tennis Court
The Quinta has a full sized all weather tennis court which is available for hire, please note tennis shoes must be worn.
Other facilities include mini golf course, table tennis and petanque.
